Bridget, Call Me, Okay?

Bridget McCain and I've got a lot in common, don't we? We're both adopted -- she's from Bangladesh and I'm from Pakistan. Her Dad actually already ran for President in 2000. This time around, though, I hope Bridget won't have to go through what Senator McCain described in Dadmag:

...As you know she's Bengali, and very dark skinned. A lot of phone calls were made by people who said we should be very ashamed about her, about the color of her skin. Thousands and thousands of calls from people to voters saying, "You know the McCains have a black baby."

Weird and troubling. Let's hope things have changed some in eight years.
