Chelsea Clinton On The Trail

Chelsea's back from a family vacation in the Dominican Republic, where she and her parents stayed in the villa of designer Oscar de la Renta, in an amazing resort called Casa de Campo. Last Saturday the Clintons had lunch with president Leonel Fernandez and his wife Margarita Cedeño. (Hey, I don't get to nosh with heads of countries when I vacation. Note to self: hire the Clinton's travel agent.)

Chelsea turned up last night at at a fund-raiser for Mom at Manhattan's Pier 94, where Vanessa Carlton sang (she danced ballet when she was a girl, too, like Chelsea). Tickets ran from $100 to $2,500, with the $2,500-ers getting a VIP reception before the main party. Yow. Hope the food was good. Chelsea stayed on stage, helped Mom get organized, and at one point tried to stop Dad from micro-managing the microphone situation. Check it out.
