Become an MTV MyJos Reporter

Knight News just gave $700,000 to MTV so they can hire a Knight Mobile Youth Journalist (aka MyJos) in each of the 50 states and D.C. to report weekly -- using cell phones and other techno-toys -- on the 2008 presidential election.

Here's the math (my tutor's going to be SO proud): $700,000 divided by 51 minus some admin costs probably ends up being about $10,000 per reporter -- not too small a chunk of change for only one report a week. Keep an eye on MTV to apply (and I'm not sure about the final payment; the number I came up with is sort of a wild guess ... er, I mean an estimate).
