First Kids Drove First Dad Reagan Crazy

People love to see a First Daughter and a President getting all lovey-dovey like Patti Davis and her dad in this photo, but they had stressful moments, too. Apparently she and her brother didn't like the Secret Service guys lurking around, and they let Dad know it. Check out these excerpts from President Reagan's just-released diary (key words in bold to make us feel better about our own melt-downs):

Ron called this evening all exercised because S.S. agents had gone into their apartment while they were in California to fix an alarm on one of his windows. I tried to reason with him that this was a perfectly O.K. thing for them to do.

... I told him quite firmly not to talk to me that way & he hung up on me. Not a perfect day.

... Patti screamed & complained so much about her privacy being invaded...

Insanity is hereditary. You catch it from your kids.
