PEOPLE Magazine Doesn't Get Asian Culture

On the cover and in the inside spread of PEOPLE's recent issue featuring the McCain clan, the photographer placed Bridget on a different level than the rest of her family, with her head way below theirs. In one of the photos, she's on the floor while her brothers and sisters are on the couch. Note to PEOPLE: In most Asian cultures, you sit according to your position and power, and this was a big faux pas.
